Sid Millman Memorial

Sid Millman Memorial

On Saturday, 1/11/2020, about 14 Chapter members gathered at The Heathman Lodge to attend the Celebration of Life for Sid Millman, one of our members who passed away recently.  Sid was a quiet man whom I had ridden with on a few occasions.  Little did any of us know that he was a retired Clark County Firefighter.  He had obviously touched a great many lives based on the large number of people in attendance.  We met his son who told us how much his dad lved riding motorcycles, starting with Triumphs he rode in the 70's and 80's, moving to a BMW in the 90's and finally to his beloved Harley in the 2000's.  He said Sid had kept a meticulous journal of all the service and upgrades he had done on his bike which they figured would be useful to help them sell it.  I asked his son if perhaps he might take over riding it and join us but to no avail.  We said goodbye to a good man that day.
